Daily Spelling Hive gives you seven letters arranged around one required center letter. You may reuse letters, but every submitted word must be at least four letters long, use only today's set, include the center, and appear on the puzzle's curated answer list.
A regular word scores its length minus three, with a minimum of one point. The designated bonus word adds seven more points. That same score is recorded in daily progress, and finding at least five list words counts as a successful daily completion when the list is large enough.
