About Chomp Circuit

Chomp Circuit is Klivii's original neon maze chase. You route Klivii through generated circuits, clear every collectible, manage five distinct BioMu Crew behaviors, and decide when to spend limited speed, power, attractor, and extra-life inventory.

How to play

  • Press Play Now, then send Klivii through open corridors to collect every yellow dot, power pellet, and speed pickup.
  • Avoid active BioMu Crew members unless power mode has turned them blue; contact without protection costs one of the five starting lives.
  • Clear the entire grid to earn a level bonus and load a larger or faster circuit. The run continues until all lives are gone.
  • Fill the Fever meter by eating regular dots. At 100%, a 12-second Fever Mode doubles collectible points and slightly increases Klivii's speed.

Controls and rules

  • Tap or click any corridor destination and the game finds an open route to it. A press held longer than roughly a third of a second spends one Speed Boost and accelerates that route.
  • Desktop players can also move one corridor at a time with Arrow keys or W, A, S, and D; Escape pauses or resumes.
  • Power-up panel buttons spend inventory: Speed runs for about five seconds, Power makes the Crew edible, Attract draws the Crew toward you, and Extra Life restores one life up to seven.
  • Pause, Music, and SFX have separate controls, so the circuit can be stopped or played silently without ending the run.

Tips

  • Reddii aims at your current tile, Pinkii targets several tiles ahead, Bluii wanders, and Greenii retreats when close. Orenjii cycles between chasing, cutting behind you, and moving toward collectibles.
  • Use a destination tap to plan a long route, but switch to single keyboard steps when a Crew member is close enough that a long path could become unsafe.
  • A Power pickup adds another stored Power use and immediately starts power mode. Try to gather the Crew before triggering a stored one so the 400, 800, 1,200 sequence is reachable.
  • The Attract power-up is dangerous by design. Pair it with Power rather than activating it while vulnerable.
  • Losing a life also removes 35% of Fever charge, so a safe route can preserve both lives and the next double-score window.

Scoring and objective

Regular dots score 10, power pickups 70, and speed pickups 90 before Fever multipliers. Chomping a powered Crew member scores 400 times the current combo, then raises that combo for the next chomp. Clearing a level adds 1,000 plus 350 per current level and 125 per remaining life. The first named score rank, BioMu Hunter, begins at 25,000.

FAQ

Are Chomp Circuit mazes the same on every level?

No. A seeded maze is built for each level. Circuits begin on a 21-by-21 grid, expand to 23-by-23 from level four, and reach 25-by-25 from level seven while Crew speed also rises.

What happens after I chomp a BioMu Crew member?

It turns into eyes, travels back to the central BioMu hub, regenerates, and briefly stays harmless before rejoining the chase. It is removed temporarily, not for the rest of the level.

Can I play Chomp Circuit with a keyboard?

Yes. Arrow keys and W/A/S/D move one open tile at a time, while mouse and touch input can route to a farther corridor destination.

What does a long press do in Chomp Circuit?

Holding the pointer down for a little over 320 milliseconds consumes one stored Speed Boost and increases movement speed. A normal tap routes Klivii without spending that inventory.
